About the college

The Bhargava College of Education is situated in a town called Samba in Jammu & Kashmir. It was founded under the sponsorship of Smt. Rattna Devi Gopal Dass Memorial Trust in the year 2001. It is a private educational institution. The college has been approved by the Government of J & K and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is affiliated to the University of Jammu in Jammu. The college has a huge library with a vast collection of books, reference materials, textbooks, journals, magazines and newspapers. The college premises have hostel accommodations for both boys and girls with mess within. The college has a secure campus, with big classrooms equipped with the required teaching aids, laboratories, and has sports facilities also. The college plans on having its NSS unit soon.

Bhargava College of Education Admission 2024

The college offers one course across the stream of education that is Bachelor degree of Education (B.Ed.). It is a 2 year course taught on campus. It is based on semester system pattern and the course curriculum is laid down by the University of Jammu. The course is a combination of theory and practical subjects spread across the two years. Sufficient practical training and teaching practice is also a part of the course. The admissions to the course are granted strictly on the basis of guidelines issued by the University of Jammu. The candidates shortlisted by the university can apply and register to the college with the required documents listed on the college website.

Eligibility

All the candidates who have passed a bachelor and/ or master’s degree from Jammu University or any other college recognised by the University Grants Commission is eligible to apply for B.Ed. All the admission procedures laid down by the university are applicable.
