About the college

Bhargava Elementary Teacher Training College was established in the year 2004 as a unit of Bhargava foundation of Shri Prakash Sharma. It is located on national highway in Nandpur in Jammu. The college has a faculty of 10 well qualified members currently working under the leadership of Principal Sh. Swaran Singh. It was established with the aim of making education affordable for the underprivileged and economically weaker students. The college is approved from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) as well as from University Grants Commission (UGC). Bhargava ETT College is affiliated to University of Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. The college has state of the art infrastructure that has, computer lab, sports facilities, auditorium, sick room, on campus Wi-Fi facility, canteen, common room, playground and conference hall, ventilated classrooms and a library. The college also provides transportation facilities to students living in and around Samba district.

Bhargava ElementaryTeacher Training College Admission 2024

The college offers one course which is Elementary Teacher Training (ETT) which is a diploma course taught on campus. It spans 2 academic years. Admission to the course is made on the basis of merit or any qualifying examination as per the procedure laid down by University of Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. The candidates should contact the college admission department directly for related procedure.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for applying to the course, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from CBSE/ ICSE/ State board or any other board recognised by UGC. The candidate must have obtained at least 45% score (General category). In case of SC/ ST/ OBC the minimum requirement is 40%.
