ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Baba Kirpal Dass College of Education is housed in a magnificent building adjoining to Gurudwara Tapo Shilla on the banks of river Yamuna, Himachal Pradesh. The college is managed by Baba Shri Chand Memorial Trust. It is recognized by the Government of Himachal Pradesh and NCTE. This institution is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University. The college offers courses of B.Ed and Diploma in Elementary Education in the stream of education. The students along with the staff are provided with a wide variety of infrastructural facilities. There is a library with about 5000 books stocked in it, a hostel with modern facilities and mess, a well-equipped lab, a playground, etc. The main aim of the college is to impart high-quality education. There are many celebrations and activities that take place here- seminars and workshops, celebrations of national festivals and important days, competitions in sports, cultural programs, and many other events.

BKD College of Education for Women Admission 2024

The admissions are based on merit criteria as of the marks obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the University. Before that, the application forms are circulated online. Interested candidates must fill out the forms correctly. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The eligibility criteria for the Diploma course is Senior Secondary School Certificate or 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the final exam. For the course of B.Ed, a student must have done graduation from a recognized institution present in India and good marks in the entrance examination.

UG ADMISSION

The college offers a B.Ed course of the duration of 2 years which is fully on campus and taught in a regular mode. The fee is approximately Rs 49,081 per year. The Diploma course is also of a duration of 2 years which is full-time and on campus. The fee is Rs 20,370 per year. The medium of teaching and learning is both in English and Hindi.
