Bongaigaon College is a public college which is located in Bongaigaon, Assam. It was established in the year 1964 and is affiliated to Gauhati University Guwahati. It has been approved by UGC and is also accredited S grade " B+ " college by NAAC.

Admission process

 

Basic eligibility criteria for candidates who want to take admission in various undergraduate courses must have to pass in a 10+2 exam from any recognised board or any equivalent exam as well. Selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam of 10 + 2. Admission will be done on the basis of merit followed by the screening process. 

Candidates who want to take admission in various postgraduate programs must have to complete their bachelors from any recognised University and selection will be done on the basis of merit. 

 

Placements

 

Tata, BRPL, Honda, Maruti etc are the top recruiting companies that visit the Placements. Around 60% of the students were replaced every year. The highest salary package offered during the placement drive is INR 2.4 LPA where the lowest salary package offered during the placement is of INR 1.2 LPA. It also provides internship opportunities and approx 15% of the students got an internship. Average salary package offered is INR 1.8 LPA.
