In order to get admission into MBBS, one must qualify the national eligibility entrance test which is conducted every year by the National testing agency. One has to clear the required cut off along with a good rank in order to get admission in this college. They must appear for the medical counselling and put this college as the top choice in order to be selected.
For MD and Ms course one must have qualified the national eligibility entrance test PG examination. They must have the required cut off for the preferred line of the specialisation. They also have to sit for the subsequent medical counselling and select this college as their top choice.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a MBBS degree one must have completed their 10 + 2 from a recognised board. They must have 50% marks in their final examination along with the combination of PCB which is physics, chemistry and biology.
The candidates who want to be eligible for MD or Ms degree must have completed their MBBS degree from a recognised University which has been approved by the Medical Council of India. They must have the minimum required percentage in the final examination and must have completed one year mandatory internship as prescribed by the medical council.
UG Course
The MBBS degree is a 5.5 years full time on campus course. The candidates learn both about the practical and theoretical part of the human body. The candidates have to go through a 1 year mandatory internship.
PG courses
The MD degree is offered for 2 years in various disciplines like anaesthesia, biochemistry , physiology , dermatology etc. The candidates are paid a stipend.
The MS degree is also a 2 years course offered by the college.
