About the college

The mission of Gorakh Singh College of Professional Education is to prepare competent, need-based human resources and responsible citizens for technical and competitive professions through knowledge dissemination, the development of technical skills, and the creation of an environment where all stakeholders are committed to long-term social progress.

The National Council for Teacher Education has authorised the two-year B. Ed programme for professional teacher training (NCTE). Our organisation is a part of Chapra's Jai Prakash University. The course curriculum aims to properly prepare aspiring educators by providing them with all the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to meet the demands of the classrooms of the new millennium. The university holds an external exam after the course is finished.

According to the policies of the state government, the U.T. administration, and the institution, admission must be based on merit and be determined by the marks attained in the qualifying exam, the entrance exam, or any other selection method. For D.ed

Eligibility

Candidates for admission to the programme must have at least a 50% grade point average in either their Bachelor's or Master's degree in the sciences, social sciences, or humanities. Candidates with Bachelor's degrees in engineering or technology with a 55% grade point average in science and mathematics are also eligible.

B.ed Admission

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has authorised the two-year, full-time undergraduate Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme, which is offered by Jai Prakash Vishwavidyalaya, Chapra.

D.ed Admission

The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Patna, offers a two-year full-time diploma degree in elementary education (D.El.Ed.) that has been authorised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
