Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology [IHBT] is situated in the city of Palampur, in the state of Himachal pradesh. The Institute was established in 1983 as the main research Institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research ( ICSIR ). The institute is approved by 25 organisations including National Council of Teachers Education ( NCTE) and University Grants Commission ( UGC).

Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology [IHBT], Palampur offers various courses in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.
