About the University

This University started working in the year 1990 for serving the needs of higher and quality oriented education for the people it provides education to the students of the backward region of Bihar. 11 different colleges are affiliated to this university and 21 constituent colleges and 23 proposed colleges which includes 10 professional colleges. Eight offers intermediate courses 3 year degree programs the year programs in low postgraduate programs in law distance education programs, proposed vocational courses etc for undergraduate courses 3 year degree programs are offered in humanity social science science and commerce three year programs in LLB. The post graduate courses offered by the University are in the following subjects: social science science commerce humanity with a specialization in English Urdu political science economics history psychology geography zoology chemistry physics maths and commerce.

ELIGIBILITY

It is necessary for UG courses to clear the intermediate exam level with the score of at least 45% in the aggregate subjects and in LLB candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 40% of marks. For PG courses the final admission for the criteria of the admissions is completely based on the merit there reserved candidates will get relaxation as per the university norms.
