ABOUT THE COLLEGE

With a huge campus of about fifty five, this college was established in the year 1987 in the state of Bihar. The teacher-student ratio here is 1:2. The faculty is highly skilled and experienced and thrives to provide quality education to the students studying here. The college facilitates the students with well maintained buildings such as an administrative block, lecture theatre, hostel accommodation facility for both boys and girls separate, a college library with a number of books, journals, and magazines to carry forward the research work. Also, each department is equipped with its own library which is well-stocked and efficiently maintained. The courses offered by this college are- MBBS under the category of undergraduate course and MD, MS under the category of postgraduate courses. The main aim of this college is to maintain the high ratings along with the 100% results which it gives almost every year owing to the academic facilities and extra activities which are organized on a weekly basis.

Katihar Medical College Admission 2024

The admissions to this college are done on the basis of the entrance exam and the scores scored by the candidates. The first step being the filling out of the application forms by the interested candidates with complete authenticity in order to avoid any rejection by the college authorities.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. The minimum age criteria is that of 17 years on or before 31st of December. The candidates must have qualified the NEET entrance exam held pan India with the qualifying score. Some concessions are given to the students belonging to the backward classes.

UG ADMISSION

The total availability of the seats in this course is 150 in number. The course duration is 5 years along with an integrated internship period. The academic years are divided into semesters with examinations being conducted after the end of every semester.

PG ADMISSION

The courses are of the duration of 3 years and on campus and full time. The teaching is done on a regular basis.
