Kolhan University is situated in the Jharkhand district in Chaibasa, west Singhbhum. This university was established in the year 2009. It was inaugurated on the 13th of August 2009. Kolhan university is affiliated with UGC ( university grants commission). Kolhan University, Chaibasa has 14 constituent colleges and 12 rated colleges. This college is mostly located in the tribal area. Kolhan University is NAAC accredited university. Kolhan University, Chaibasa is recognised by the government of India.
