About the college-

KRISHNA BORA B. ED. COLLEGE was founded in 1996 by Lankan educators. In Hojai Sub-Division, it is the only institution for teacher training. It meets the requirement for teacher preparation in Nagaon District, particularly in Hojai Sub-Division and its neighbouring Districts of Karbi Anglong and N.C. Hills. It is currently one of the state's top institutions. Lanka B. Ed. College was the institution's original name, and it was founded at Lanka High School. Later, it adopted the name Krishna Bora B. Ed. College.

The college provides admission to the courses of Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education. These courses are provided for the purpose of making the students make a career in the teaching field. The Bachelor of Education is for a time period of two years whereas the Diploma course is for one year. Both the courses are on campus courses for a full time period.

Eligibility-

  • The eligibility criteria for getting admission into the Bachelor of Education course is that the candidate must have completed his or her graduation from a recognised university with a 50% mark aggregate.
  • For a Diploma in education course, a candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board or a state board.

Process-

  • Candidates would only have the opportunity to apply in the offline mode in order to be admitted to this college. The application will be picked up by the candidate at the administrative office.
  • You must carefully read the form before filling it out. Use only a blue or black ballpoint pen, and try to avoid overwriting and cutting as much as possible.
  • The application form must be submitted with a photocopy of the necessary document.
  • While submitting the form, the required application fees must also be paid.
  • The administrative member will cancel any forms that are either incomplete or incorrectly filled out.
  • When choosing between applicants, merit is taken into account.
