Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Directorate of Distance Education is a government university which was introduced in the year 1998. The university is approved by Universal Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV).
The university offers courses in UG,PG and Diploma Programmes.
The main objective behind the introduction of Distance Education in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya is to provide education to the students who cannot go to college due to family issues or financial crisis. The university aims to provide the education to the students in less fees.

BACHELOR OF LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE [B.LIB.I.SC.]:-
Duration: 1 Year.
Total Fees: Rs. 12,300.
Eligibility: Students must have completed their graduation from a recognized institute with minimum marks of 50%.
ADMISSION PROCESS:-

After visiting, candidates have to register themselves by entering their name, city, mobile no and email ID.
After registration, candidates will get a login ID and password. With that, students will log into their respective IDs, and fill the application form.
After the process of filling the application form is over, candidates will attach the required documents.
After attaching the required documents, students will submit the application form.
SELECTION PROCESS:-
The selection process of the candidates is based on the merit list prepared by the college authorities after the verification of all the documents which are attached by the student along with the application form. If all the documents of the student are alright, then the student will get the admission in the university.
