About the college

The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV) was established by the Act No. 37 of 1995 of Madhya Pradesh Government vide Gazette notification no. 537 dated 29 Nov 1995. The University head office is situated at Brahmsthan of India (geographical centre of India) Village-Karaundi, District-Katni (earlier Katni was part of Jabalpur district), Madhya Pradesh. MMYVV has been established as a statutory University like any other statutory university in India. MMYVV is recognized by UGC under section 2 (F) and is a member of Association of Indian Universities. The University offers Doctoral programmes, Post Graduate (Acharya), Graduate (Shastri) and Diploma (Praman Patra) Programmes in Maharishi Ved Vigyan, Jyotish, Yog, Sthapatya Ved-Vastu Vidya, Darshan Shastra, Gandharva Ved-Indian Classical Music and Vedic Swasthya Vidhan. Other than Vedic courses, university also offers BCA, BA, B.Sc(CS), BCOM, PGDCA and DCA, MSC (CS)courses. B.Ed, B.A.B.Ed and B.El.Ed courses approved by National Council of Teachers Education [NCTE] are conducted by the University.

If the candidates choose to fill out the application form, they need to follow the following stepwise procedure to fill out the application form :

  • And then click on the New Application Form and download the form from the official site.
  • Then take a print-out of the form and start filling out the form carefully with educational and personal information of the candidates.

Next, attach the following documents to the application form :

  • 12th mark sheet
  • ID-Proof
  • Family Income certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Category Certificate [If applicable]
  • Fill in the facts within the right manner to avoid rejection of the form and fix alongside the mandatory documents and send them through a speed post or courier to the University's address.
  • And should pay the appliance fee INR - 1000/- throughout a demand draft (DD) in favour of "Maharishi Mahes Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya" from any bank (Under Control of the Government).
