Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology (MIMIT) is a government Institute which is managed by the Hon'ble Technical Education Minister which is located in Malout, Punjab. Admission Procedure
Basic eligibility criteria for the candidate who are interested in taking admission in B.Tech course must have to pass their 10 + 2 exam from any recognized board or any equivalent exam as well with an aggregate of 50% marks and must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as their core subjects and the selection will be done on the basis of Mark secured in the JEE main entrance examination. Whereas for B.Tech ( Lateral) course selection will be done only for diploma holder candidates from a recognized University.
The basic eligibility criteria for the candidates who are interested in taking admission in B.Com, BCA or BBA course , must have to pass their 10 + 2 exam from any recognised board with an aggregate of 33% marks and selection will be done on the basis of merit.
The basic eligibility criteria for a candidate who are interested in taking admission in various postgraduate programs offered by the institute must have to pass their bachelor's degree from any recognised University with an aggregate of 50% to 60% marks in their relevant streams. The selection for the MBA course will be done on the basis of marks secured in the CMAT examination, for the MSc course selection will be done on the basis of merit and the selection for MTech course will be done on the basis of GATE score.
