About the college

Milkha Singh Educational Institute is a private college in Bareta Punjab. It was started by S.Milkha Singh who was a well known industrialist and philanthropist. It was established on 1st July in the year 2005. The college offers three courses - B.Ed., D.El.Ed. and M.Ed. . It has an affiliation to Punjabi University, Patiala and SCERT, Punjab. It has been recognised by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). 

It's vision is to make the youth responsible towards the society 's well being and functioning. They also groom their students to develop an attitude to serve the community in every way possible. They are also offering affordable courses so that people from various backgrounds can enroll in the course. 

 

Milkha Singh Educational Institute Admission 2024

 

The student wanting to pursue any of the three courses from the college must fulfill the basic eligibility requirements. For bachelor's in Education the candidate must already have done their bachelor's in any subject from a recognised University. The students applying for masters must have done their bachelor's in Education from any recognised university.

For diploma the student must have completed and passed the 10+2 schooling system from a recognised board.

 

Eligibility

For bachelor's in Education degree the candidate must have passed and completed their bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university. They must have a minimum aggregate of 50%. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC ST candidates. 

For masters in education degree the candidate must have already done their bachelor's in Education from a recognised university with a minimum required 50%. There is 5% relaxation for SC ST candidates.

For diploma the candidate must have scored 50% in their final school examination.

 

UG Course

The college offers one UG course and one diploma course.

The UG course is of 2 years full time on campus.

The diploma is a 1 years full time on campus course.

PG Course

The college offers only one PG course which is the master's in education degree. It is a full time on campus 2years course.
