Nalanda Teachers Training College is a self financed institute which is situated in
Meghi Nongawan, Bihar. It was established in the year 2006. It is affiliated to the Patilpura University, Patna.
It was approved by the National Council of Teacher Education NCTE and the state government. The college is upon a 1 acre area and is quite spacious. There are many facilities like library, auditorium, lab and cafeteria in the college. The college also has many sports facilities for physical well being and development of the students. The college offers two courses at this moment - Bachelor's in Education and Master's in Education.

The candidates who want admission in this college must fulfill the minimum eligibility given by the college. Eligibility
The candidates wanting to pursue Bachelor's in Education degree must have already completed their bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised University. They must have a minimum 50 percentage marks in their final examination. There is 5 percent relaxation for ST SC candidates.
The candidates wanting to pursue Master'a in education degree must have completed their bachelor's in Education degree from a recognised University. They must have a minimum 50 percentage marks. There is 5 percent relaxation for ST SC candidates.

PG course
The master's in education degree is a 2 years full time on campus course. The total fees is Rs 75000. The total intake capacity is 50.
