About the college

Located in the town of Sohawal in district Satna , Madhya Pradesh, National College of Teachers Education was established in the academic session 2005-06. It was founded under the aegis of Narsingh Sikchan Sansathan Samiti, Dhawari Satna.  The college is recognised by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and is affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college has a highly qualified faculty of 19 members willing to help students in every way possible. The college actively participates in a number of workshops and seminars for continuous development of both students and staff.The college campus spreads over 2300 square metres with well-ventilated and airy classrooms, a library with over 5000 books and sports facilities. Recognising the global trend of I.T. led world the college has put great emphasis on its computer lab which is high tech with over 30 computers.

National College of Teachers Education Admission 2024

The college runs only a Bachelor degree of Education (B.Ed.) course that spans one year. It has both theory and practical subjects including Development of education system in India, Development of learner and teacher learning process, methods of teaching first school subjects, computer education, library services, environmental education, career information, painting, dance and music, field exposure and paper cutting. Admission process requires that the candidate applies to the registrar of the vishvidyalaya on prescribed form via principal of the college of the education affiliated to vishvidyalaya and submit required certificates. Admission is granted on merit basis.

Eligibility

The candidate must have completed a bachelor degree or any other equivalent degree from an institution recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and state government. The eligibility is solely based on norms laid down by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and is affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
