Jindal Global Law School [JGLS], is a constituent college of the O.P. Jindal Global University formerly known as JGU. JGLS was established in 2009 as India's first Global Law School. The main aim and vision of this school is to offer the students with quality legal education and to provide the required exposure in International, domestic and comparative law courses. JGLS also happens to have tie-ups and collaborations with leading law schools all over the world, such as Yale, NYU, Harvard Law School, Sydney, Keio and many more.
Jindal Global Law School offers the following courses and programs in law and it's related disciplines:
- B.A LL.B (Hons.) :- Duration: 5 years, Eligibility: 10+2 and a minimum of 45% in LAW School Admission Test ( LSAT).
- BBA LL.B. (Hons.) :- Duration: 5 years, Eligibility: 10+2 and a minimum of 45% in LAW School Admission Test ( LSAT).
- B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies :- Duration: 3 years, Eligibility: a minimum 45% in the Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT) conducted by O.P. Jindal Global University.
- LL.B :- Duration: 3 years, Eligibility: a Bachelor's degree in any subject with a minimum percentage of 45% marks
- LL.M :- Duration: 1 year, Eligibility: a Bachelor's degree in Law from any recognised university in India or abroad and a minimum 70% weightage in JSAT.
ยท Ph.D :- Duration: 3 years, Eligibility: LL.M with a minimum 55% marks, Candidates holding an experience in teaching, industry, managerial, practising etc.will be given preference, a Master's degree relevant to the topic proposed for the thesis with a minimum percentage of 55% marks having a minimum 3 years in managerial or professional experience.
