About the college

Patel College of Education is a private self-financing college founded in the year 2008. It is situated in Rajabzar, district Jehanabad in the state of Bihar. It is a coeducational institute with a robust teaching faculty having years of experience. The college is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is affiliated to Magadh University in Gaya. The college has a library with 3000+ books, reference materials, encyclopaedias and journals and a reading room with a seating capacity of 25. The college has a canteen, well equipped laboratories and a multi-purpose hall. It has hostel accommodations and facilities for indoor games and athletics with its own playground. The campus also has its own medical amenities.

The college runs only one program which is Bachelor degree of Education (B.Ed.). The admissions to the course are made offline only. An advertisement would be published in the newspaper regarding the start of admissions. The candidates then have to buy the admission form and prospectus at the college admission counter. The candidates can also ask for the form via post. After filling the form carefully they have to submit the form at the counter along with necessary enclosures. The last date of receiving the application forms would be mentioned in the advertisement itself. The admission to the course is on a provisional basis and can be cancelled in case of any discrepancy in information provided.

Eligibility

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognised university and should have secured at least 50% marks. In case of admission to reserved seats, all guidelines laid down by the Bihar government are adhered to. The seats are made available to non-reserved categories if there is no candidate  from reserved category.
