Jharkhand's Ramchandra Chandravansi University (RCU) was established in 2018 under the Jharkhand Act No. 10. The university is recognised by the UGC and is connected with the AICTE.

 

RCU Admission 2024

RCU provides diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in over ten fields to support students' entire development. Admission to these courses is solely on the basis of academic achievement.

 

ADMISSION PROCEDURE.

This school was founded with the goal of providing high-quality education at a reasonable cost to students at all levels.

● Indian nationals and Non-Resident Indians will be able to enrol in the university. However, universities must admit international students in accordance with government criteria. Admission to all of the university's programmes will be based on the results of the university's Entrance Test. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination if the entrance exam is not conducted for one reason or another, or if there are fewer candidates available. Admission to NRI/Foreign students would be based on their performance in qualifying examinations. requirements for entrance to any university degree of study.Admissions are made on the basis of performance in an entrance exam. The merit will be computed based on the university's All India entrance test for seats available in the subject. The university shall conduct its own admission examinations in all subjects with one or more centres within the country or overseas. If Ramchandra Chandravansi University so desires, it may form a partnership with other state institutions to conduct admissions tests for similar degrees. For admission to any programme, the institution will additionally consider scores/merit in entrance examinations administered by any other body/university/agency.Excellence in sports and other extracurricular activities will be given weightage for courses where admission is based on merit in the qualifying test. Govt. regulations must apply in defining the eligibility requirements for admission to any course of study in university for applicants belonging to schedule castes/schedule tribes or other backward classes in all courses of study.

● There will be no exceptions to the qualifying standards under any circumstances. Even if he or she is otherwise qualified, an applicant cannot claim admission as a matter of right. Without specifying a reason, the University has the right to refuse admission to anybody.

● Even though a notification requesting applications for admission to a course of study has been published and the admission process has begun, the university has the right not to admit any applicant to that course of study. Furthermore, the institution has the ability to cancel the admissions process at any time without giving a reason. Under no circumstances will the applicant be entitled to a refund of the application/processing fee.

● Provisional admissions are required for all students. Admissions will be cancelled if it is discovered at any point that a candidate's qualifying examination is not recognised by the Ramchandra Chandravansi University or that he or she has disguised or submitted incorrect information.

● Within four weeks after his or her provisional acceptance, each student must pass a medical examination. Those found medically incompetent will be denied entrance, and their admission will be revoked.

● Changes made from time to time by the Admission Committee/Academic Council of this University to the Admission Rules and/or qualifying criteria. should apply to all candidates for admission to the University.

● Candidates must present the original mark sheets / certificates in person at the time of interview/ reporting for admission, including the statement of marks of the qualifying examination with the required percentage of marks, failing which they will not be interviewed / allowed to complete admission, and the offer of admission will be cancelled, with no further correspondence in the matter.

● If it is discovered at any point during the process that a candidate

○ does not meet the eligibility standards.

○ has used fraudulent means to gain admission.

○ has made false or erroneous statement(s), he or she will not be permitted to attend the interview. satisfy the admissions requirements Alternatively, if he or she has already been admitted, his or her admittance will be revoked.

● If a mistake or omission in the processing/verification of an applicant's certificates/documents is discovered after the candidate has been admitted to a university programme. The university reserves the right to revoke such admission at any time after the error or omission is discovered.

● A vacancy created as a result of the cancellation of admission as described above, or as a result of name removal or any other reason, shall be filled by the candidate who reported with reference to his/her waiting list on the specified date and time as per the waiting list strictly in order of merit. However, if a vacancy occurs after the deadline for admissions, The vacant position will not be filled and will stay vacant.

● Candidates whose qualifying examinations are not recognised by this University will be denied admission to any course.

● Admission Test Cards (Admit Cards) will be delivered to applicants via registered mail/speed post/courier/or online admit cards will be provided to the candidate in the case of admission by test. Applicants should double-check that the address on their Admit Card is accurate and suitable. Before arriving at the Test Centers, candidates should double-check that they have the Admission Test Card in their hands. After proper identification and the production by the candidate of his/her two photographs, a duplicate Admission Test Card (Admit Card) may be issued to a candidate in person a day before or up to two days before the time of the Admission Test by the Admission Section of this University in very special circumstances and for genuine reasons.

● No request for a change of correspondence address will be considered. In the event of a change, the candidate may notify the Post Office to have his or her mail forwarded to the new or modified address.

● Candidates who do not report for admission on the specified day and time forfeit their claim for admission, and no communication will be accepted in this respect.

● If a vacancy occurs as a result of the removal of a name or for any other reason, the University will publish or display a Waiting List. Waiting List is not an offer of admission; it is issued only if a vacancy is anticipated to arise as a result of one or more selected applicants failing to report for admission. If a vacancy arises, the candidate on Waiting List No. 1 will be admitted if he/she reports on the stipulated day and time. If the applicant on Waiting List No. 1 fails to appear for admission, the space is offered to the candidate on Waiting List No. 2 as quickly as possible.

● Candidates who are not accepted will not be notified, and their application forms and payments will not be returned.

● An applicant will be disqualified if he or she canvasses in any way to gain admission.

● The forms and pertinent material cannot be kept for an extended period of time. As a result, any challenge about admission must be lodged within thirty days of the admissions deadline, after which time such complaints will not be considered. If a dispute is submitted after the time limit has expired. The University is not obligated to deliver the Admission Form or any other documentation.

● In the case of Indian students, candidates who have an Intervening Period in their studies after passing the qualifying examination must submit an Affidavit from a Notary Public and relevant documents explaining the reason for the discontinuation/interruption in studies in order to be considered for the condonation of the intervening period.

● While completing the admission processes, candidates selected for admission must deposit the original marksheet of their qualifying examination at the office of the respective college's Principal/Registrar/Controller of Examinations. Following the completion of all University admissions, the stated marksheet will be returned to the appropriate candidates.

● The Office of the Head of Department/Principal for Professional Courses/Registrar/Controller of Examinations, upon receiving a copy of the qualifying examination marksheet(s) from the candidates, by hand, on or before the deadline, shall issue a receipt acknowledging the same.

● No applicant should be permitted to enrol in the same Course/Class (or its comparable Course) that he or she has already completed.

● If a candidate is temporarily admitted to a Course of lower preference as indicated on his or her Application Form, he or she may be changed to a Course of greater choice if a vacancy occurs.

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION:

Candidates should double-check that they are appropriately filling out the Application for Admission to a Specific Course at the University.

The application form may be found in the Prospectus as well as at the University office. The application for admission should be fully filled out and sent to the University office along with a bank draught.
