About the college
Shri Shyam Teacher Training College is located in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. It was established in 2001 and is affiliated to the Maharaja Ganga Singh University. It has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The overall mission of the institution is to encourage personal growth in all its students by providing the academic and social resources they may need to pursue learning how to be an educator of professional calibre in the field. The provision of facilities for such a reason are classrooms, a library, seminar halls, sports playground, laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology and Language, and a computer laboratory.

The college offers several undergraduate programs in the field of Education. The first is a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), studied for the length of two years. Other degrees offered are a B.S.T.C. and a Diploma of Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for two-year study. The students can also choose to pursue the Education degree in the form of a B.A.B.Ed or a B.Sc. B.Ed. by integrating both the subjects of Arts or Science with Education as a combined 4-year study.
Eligibility
The admission criteria for being selected for the B.Ed course is for the student to have attained at least a Bachelor's degree in a stream of their choice from a recognised university.
On the other hand, the eligibility criteria for the rest of the courses is for the student to have passed their 10 + 2 exam as their highest level of education from an accredited college.
Process
The interest student must visit the college website to find the link to the application form available online. They must download the document and print it out for themselves. The form must then be filled out with all the accurate information and attached with copies of important documents before being submitted through post.
