About the college 

SS Jain College of Education is located in Mansa, Punjab. It was established in 2008 and is affiliated to the Punjabi University, Patiala. It has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college's primary aim is to provide the necessary academic and social resources and tools for the intellectual development of the student necessary to their future career as an educator. Another objective is to provide opportunities for empowerment of the youth of minority communities. Facilities that can thus be availed from the college campus are a library, laboratories, seminar halls, computer lab, sports, canteen, transport and hostels.

The college is known for the teacher training and development programs being offered for the benefit of the female youth. An important program that can be pursued at the college is a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), an academic course that runs for the duration of two years. It involves both the theory and application of teacher training to best improve the experience of the knowledge and skill needed. 

Eligibility

The primary criteria for eligibility of a seat is to have completed undergraduate level study and qualified with a Bachelor's degree with a major in any subject under the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science or many others. In addition to this, a 50% examination score is required to have been achieved previously. 

Process 

In order to achieve a seat at the college, the student must visit the college in person and enquire about the policies and procedure of admissions. The officers in the administration office will provide the prospectus and application form to be purchased by the candidate. The document must be procured with a fee payment. After filling out the necessary information, the document must be submitted to the administration with the stipulated admission documents.
