About the college

Veena Memorial College of Education [VMCE] is a NCTE approved college situated in Karauli, Delhi. It is affiliated to University of Kota. It has the aim to train prospective teachers through hard work, passion and integrity. It was started in the year 2005 and is spread around an area of about 31568 Sq. Mt.

They have a brilliant library with over 8200 books, 115 reference paper and about 15 daily paper. It has a seating capacity of 25 students.

The aspirants who want to take admission in this college has to appear for the Pre teacher education test (PTET) which is conducted by the state Government. The aspirants qualifying in this exam are only able to apply for this college.

Eligibility

The aspirants who want to take admission in B. Ed must possess a graduation degree in Science/Arts/Commerce. They must have passed the exam with 50 percentage and have the eligible age of 21 to get admission in this college.

There is another certificate program offered by this college known as the Basic School Training Certificate ( B. S. T. C). The minimum eligibility is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 level with a good percentage. The admission is on the basis of marks and first cum first serve. The B. S. T. C course is affiliated to Registrar, Education Departmental Examination Rajasthan, Bikaner.

UG courses

The two courses offered by the college is B. Ed and BSTC. For B. Ed the candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline. They must also possess 50 percentage in their final examination. It is full time 2 years course on campus. The total intake is 200. The fees of this course per year is Rs. 27000.

The Basic School Training Certificate is a one year full time course. The students having done their 10+2 level can apply for this certificate course. It is a full time on campus course for one year. The total intake is 50. The total fees for this course is Rs. 22,400.

PG Courses

 There is no PG courses offered by the college now. But they are planning to start their M. Ed degree soon.
