About the college

Yash College of Education is located near Bandawar in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 2005 under the sponsorship of  Yash Shikshan Sansthan Avam Gramin Vikas Samiti. It was established with the vision of training young aspiring teachers with necessary and competent skills. It is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (DAVV) and Board of Secondary Education. The college is situated in clean, green and spacious surroundings with facilities such as huge library with national as well as international journals, internet facility on campus, a seminar hall with a capacity of 400 and sport facilities for indoor as well as outdoor games. The college has its own buses that ply in all areas in and around Bandawar for the ease of the students.

The college has two courses namely Bachelor degree of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). Each course spans 2 years and has an intake of 100 students each session. Admission to D.El.Ed. is online and is conducted by Board of Secondary Education on the official website of the government of Madhya Pradesh. The admission process is completed before June 30 every year. For admission to B.Ed. an exam is conducted by Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal, Bhopal information for the same can be found on the official website of the state government.

Eligibility

D.El.Ed.

The candidate must be at least 17 years old  at the time of applying and must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% score or any other equivalent examination.

B.Ed.

The student must hold a graduate or a postgraduate degree recognised by UGC with 50% marks.
