About The College

The Z.H. Unani Medical College & Hospital is situated 1.5 kilometers from Siwan Railway Junction in the northwestern part of the town of Siwan, on the banks of the River Daha. It occupies a 5-acre parcel of land. There is enough room for the campus to grow in the future. The college was founded in 1979 and received association from the Bihar government in a letter dated 14.08.84 and approval in a letter dated 18.06.85. From that point on, the college was connected with the B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University in Muzaffarpur. As a result, it is associated with the B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University in Muzaffarpur and is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, the Ministry of Health, the Federal Government of Delhi, and the Bihar Ministry of Health. This college was founded by the late Zulfequar Haider with the lofty goal of disseminating the Unani medical system.
