Academy of Medical Science Pariyaram, Kannur was established in the year 1995 as a private institution to impart higher education to build a career in the field of Medical degrees. It is affiliated with MCI. The college has made giant strides in the field of health and also aims at setting standards in indicators for public health for the rest of the nation. This is achieved by ensuring literacy, equitable land distribution and civic rights to the entire society. It provides degrees spread across 30 courses.

The college offers admission in the following courses :

  • MBBS with a fee of Rs. 5.4 lakhs
  • D. with a fee of Rs. 51000
  • Diploma with a fee of Rs. 68,400
  • S with a fee of Rs. 51000
  • Sc with a fee of Rs. 99,300

The course duration is an average of 3 to 4 years and the admission process shall be carried out based on marks of certain entrance exams required by the college.

Eligibility

The following terms and conditions are required to take admission in this college :

  • 50% of the total seats will be filled up by the government from the list prepared by the commissioner for entrance examinations by merit and reservation principles followed by the government from Time to time.
  • 35% of the total seats shall be treated as management seats and shall be filled up among the candidates who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET).
  • The candidate must have passed his /her 12th physics, chemistry and biology from a recognised institute.
  • The Qualifying marks for the reserved categories are as follows :
  1. Unreserved – 50%
  2. OBC/ST/SC – 40%
  3. PWD- 45%UG & PG Admissions
  • The application form must be filled with relevant information about the candidate.
  • Documents asked by the university must be submitted by the students with great attention.
  • Filling with any wrong information may immediately lead to the rejection of the application.
