Al Jamia Arts and Science college were established in the year 2010 with the main objective of uplifting the educational development of Muslims and other communities moulding them into becoming professionally and ethically efficient citizens. It is an ISO-certified institution and is affiliated with the University of Calicut and is also recognized by the Government of Kerala. The college offers various services and facilities such as clubs, a computer lab, a psychology lab, a library, a food technology lab etc. The college offers various internships to the students to make them well prepared to work in the real world and handle real-life situations.

  • The college offers admission in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. The undergraduate courses include :

Eligibility

  • For B.Sc (food technology) the students should have completed their +2 level of education with science and mathematics as the subjects.
  • For B.Sc ( Microbiology), clearing the +2 level of education with physics chemistry and biology as the necessary subjects.
  • For B.Sc ( Psychology),plus 2 of equivalent examination.
  • For B.Sc (Geography), Plus 2 or equivalent examination.
  • For other Bachelor courses, the eligibility criteria are the same as for clearing +2 or equivalent examination
  • For the postgraduate course, the students shall have a UG Degree and also needs to give an entrance exam and pass with at least 40% marks.

UG and PG Admissions

  • All applicants must submit their application form online through CAP(Centralized Admission Process) of the University of Calicut within the prescribed time.
  • 50 % of the seats are filled by the management on a merit basis.
  • A separate application needs to be submitted through the college website to seek admission under Management Quota.
  • The parent or guardian should be present at the time of the interview.
  • The documents need to be produced at the time of the interview are :
  1. Admit card
  2. CAP College copy printout
  3. Mandatory Fee challan Receipt
  4. Original 10th and 12th certificate
  5. TC and Conduct certificate
  6. Aadhar card copy
  7. Equivalency, Recognition certificates (if applicable)
  • The semester fee should be remitted on or before the prescribed date.
