Amala college of Nursing, Thrissur is a reputed and well-known instruction which has founded in the year 2005. The college is INC, KNC approved and is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health and Sciences. The college conducts various programs such as remedial teaching, faculty improvement, value-added education for students and guidance and counselling committee and provides a boost in the confidence of the students. Placement assistance is also provided by the college to the students based on their merit. Also, an internship in their specialisation is necessary for the students to complete the duration of their course. Extracurricular activities are given importance in this college such as basketball, volleyball and a fitness centre too. All the assistant professors and lecturers hold master’s degrees in their own area of specialisation in nursing and are really helpful to students towards clearing their doubts.

Admission to this institution is solely based on merit. The college offers courses in undergraduate programs such as B. Sc Nursing, postgraduate programs such as M.Sc Nursing and a PhD as well .

The course duration are for 4years, 2 years and 2 years respectively. The fee structure for the course is Rs. 90500 for the first year and Rs. 80500 for the rest of the years of college education making it a total of Rs. 332000 for 4 years.

Eligibility

The selection is purely on a merit basis. Admission for the course is done only if the student has secured a 50% minimum aggregate with main subjects such as Physics, chemistry and biology in his /her Higher secondary or pre-university examination.

As for the postgraduate course, the candidate must have completed his /her 10+2+3 level of education with at least one year of teaching or clinical experience.
