About the college

Anvarul Islam Arabic College [AIAC], Malappuram was established in the year 1962  at Kuniyil. The grounding vision of this institute was to set up a centre of higher learning for foreign languages with a special emphasis on the Arabic language and literature. The college aims at the social upliftment of backwards communities with a blend of progress, secularity and moral ethics. The college has some core values that I used strict adherence to integrity by the highest academic, professional and ethical standards, providing outstanding teaching and learning experience, environmental sustainability etc. It is UGC recognised and also affiliated to the University of Calicut.

AIAC Admission 2024

The college offers admission in both UG and PG programmes such as B.A. In Arabic, B.com with Islamic Finance and M.A. Arabic Language and literature.

The course is for 3 years and 2 years respectively. The college also offers admission to socially down trodden sections of the society by providing them. with various scholarships also providing with few concessions, Student aid fund, prizes and awards and other aids. The course is for 3 years and is on campus and full-time.

Eligibility

  1. The student seeking admission must have acquired at least 50% in their 10th and 12th examinations from any recognised board or institution.
  2. Students with any additional degree with a duration of fewer than 3 years are not eligible for admission to this college.
  3. The minimum pass percentage required is as mentioned below : 50% for OC

45% for BC

43% for MBC

40% for SC / ST candidates.

  1. The student should qualify for the entrance examination and interviews conducted by the college.
  2. The student shall have basic knowledge of the subject which he /she desires to choose.

UG & PG Admissions

  • The application form can be filled out both in online as well as offline mode.
  • Original copies of the mark sheet and the certificates of the 10th and 12th must be submitted.
  • If filling through online mode, the student must attest his/her signatures and upload them along with the application form.
  • A transfer certificate must also be submitted which should be issued by the last institution from which the candidate had qualified.
  • Payment of the application fee must be made and a screenshot must be taken to avoid any hassle in the future.
