ABOUT THE COLLEGE

With the objective to provide quality teacher training to the students, the Army Institute Of Education was established in the year 2003. The main aim of this institute is to aid the persons dependent on the army personnel to stand on their own feet through pre teacher training program. The institute is approved by the Army Welfare Education Society and also recognized by NCTE. This institute is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The college offers a course under the stream of Education and facilitates its students with a library with a total of 8000 books, keeping aside many of the magazines and journals, also properly air-conditioned computer labs to perform practical in order to learn modern ways of teaching and understanding. Study tours are also organized to help in overall growth. The college is famous for its results and teaching faculty which is expert in their respective fields.

AIE Admission 2024

The admissions are done through Common Entrance Test conducted by GGSIPU, New Delhi. Application forms for the same must be filled which are made available online on the website. The commencement of the session usually begins in the month of August or September.

ELIGIBILITY

The seats in this college are only for wards, wives, and widows of serving and ex-servicemen army personnel. The interested candidate must have secured at least 50% marks either in a bachelor’s or in a master's degree. There is a 5% relaxation for the wards of defence personnel as per GGSIPU guidelines.

UG ADMISSION

This institute offers residential full time professional programs which are B.Ed, and B.Ed special education [LD]. the total duration is that of 1 year with an intake capacity of 100 students. The college specializes in the education for learning disabilities.
