 Assabah Arts and Science College, Malappuram affiliated with the university of Calicut was established in the year 2005. The college is run by Assabah Association trust. Other than the traditional educational careers, Assabah college offers its students with employability and the skill development. It was formed with the mission to provide students with high-quality educational experiences and to build reflective individuals through continuous critical analysis and with measurable outcomes. The college offers admission in 14 undergraduate programmes and 4 post graduate programmes.

The fee structure for the different disciplines of courses is mentioned in the university’s portal itself. The annual intake for the undergraduate program is about 200 students whereas its 150-200 for the postgraduate courses.

Eligibility

• The selection of the students is done on a merit basis. The students shall obtain 50% marks in the 10^th and 12 examinations conducted by a recognised board or institution or under the UGC guidelines which is are equivalent thereto.
• For students seeking admission from other states, Nativity certificates should be obtained.
• Relaxation to students belonging to the reserved categories is provided and they have to acquire a minimum of 45% in their 10th and 12th examinations all put together.
• No candidate shall be eligible for the postgraduate degree programmes unless he/she has completed the prescribed course of study and has passed the qualifying examination.

 UG & PG Admissions

1. All admissions are done through a single-window system of Calicut University.
2. The students must register online and obtain CAP ( Centralised Admission Process) .
3. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission of the student.
4. The application fee is Rs. 100 which needs to be paid in person and online transactions are not accepted.
5. Attested copies of mark sheet of qualifying examinations should be submitted along the application for admission.
6. Admission will be finalised only after the interview has taken place. The presence of parent is necessary during the interview.
