About the College
On the Lucknow-Barabanki Highway, in the Barabanki neighbourhood of Lucknow, is where Avadh Law College is located. Classrooms, libraries, computer labs, moot courts, etc. are all built perfectly in accordance with the requirements of the Bar Council of India in New Delhi. The Brij Rani Educational Trust and Baljit Kumar are the administrators of Avadh Law College. In honour of the late Shri Baljit Kumar Goel and Smt. Brij Rani Goel, the trust was created in 2007. In 2007, we established "Avadh Law College" in order to assist humanity and address the issues posed by newly enacted laws.
ALC Admission 2024
Merit-based and entrance test criteria will be used to determine admission. Minimum percentages for general candidates are 45%, 42%, and 40%, respectively, for OBC and SC/ST candidates.
Eligibility
Indian citizens seeking admission to the three-year LL.B. unitary degree programme must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 45% in their bachelor's degree final examination in any academic track from a university fully accredited by the UGC. Subject to passing the final year exams at the latest by the date determined by the university, students who have registered for the Final Year Degree Examination may be accepted provisionally.
About the Course
LLB:-The three-year, full-time law programme leading to the LL.B degree lasts for six semesters. The LL.B degree is granted after all six semesters have been successfully completed. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in Faizabad is responsible for managing semesters and exams. The test given at the conclusion of each semester and the candidate's success in the practical training subjects are used to assess their academic achievement, which is done in accordance with the guidelines periodically released by the bar council of India.
BA LLB:-Following 10+2 or 11+1, a five-year B.A. LL.B. programme will be divided into two parts: part 1 will be a 2-year core programme of pre-law study, and part 2 will be a 3-year programme for professional training in law. An integrated degree with the title "B.A., L.L.B." would be awarded upon satisfactory completion of law.
