A.W.H college of education was established by the Association for the welfare of the handicapped (AWH) in 1996 with the aim to provide quality teacher education. It is a government college and is approved by RCI, NCTE and Calicut University.

Facilities :

The college provides well-qualified faculty for the students.
It has a separate library for each department with a vast number of books to help students broaden their horizons of knowledge.
The college has well-equipped labs.
A playground is also available for the students.

Admission process:

The admission in AWH college is merit-based, nearly 70℅ of the seats are filled by the government on a merit basis and the rest are filled through the management quota.There is an entrance test conducted by the college for admission into different courses and the admission through management quota is also based on the merit of the student. Students can fill out the application form from the university portal.

Eligibility:

Students must have scored at least 50℅ in their 12th standard from any recognised board.
Admission is completed based on marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University.
Seats are also reserved for the students belonging to the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe community.
