Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar College of Physical Education [BSBRACPE] is one of the constituent colleges of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU), Srikakulam. Founded in the year 2000 it has been considered by the National Councils for Teacher Education (NCTE). The main aim of the institute is to constantly work in the department of Higher Education to become the first choices of the student with the quality of education and with the various methods of teaching. The main aim of the Institute is to help the student in developing their overall personality keeping them equipped with the various skills and the widened knowledge used to face the competitive world.

It is offering a regular mode undergraduate program in which one is a one years duration course of Bachelors in education (B.Ed) while the other is a bachelor in physical education (B.P.Ed) which is a 3 years course duration program. 

Eligibility criteria

Anyone who is having a bachelor degree in hand with an aggregate of average grade point of 50% from any stream and from any university are eligible to apply for the bachelors in education program whereas the candidate having HSE examination certificate from any boards are eligible to apply for the B.P.Ed course. Candidates must have to go through the entrance examination conducted by the University itself.
