About the College

The Banaskantha District Kelavani Mandal built the B K Mercantile Bank Law College in Palanpur in 1998. The Banaskantha Region Kelavani Mandal has been working hard to meet the needs of higher education in this underdeveloped Banaskantha district. The college's vision is to establish and maintain a centre for inspiring, training, research, awareness, excellence, and innovation in legal education with the goal of creating and sustaining a community of legal professionals who uphold the Constitution's spirit and the values of science, secularism, and the rule of law. The college's primary goal is to establish legal aid centres that will offer legal assistance, educate the public about their legal rights, raise awareness of environmental issues and women's empowerment in society, and help to generate funds for the community's social and economic development in this underdeveloped area.

Admission to LLB programmes can be obtained in two ways: depending on the results of qualifying exams and the results of entrance exams like the PU LLB, 

Eligibility

Candidates seeking a law degree must have graduated from a recognised institution in any discipline, such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, etc., as the 3-year LLB is a law course provided after graduation. The required minimum score may vary according on the college; some require 50%, while others merely 45%. Additionally, there is a modification of the minimum mark requirement for candidates from the reserved category in public law colleges.

About the Course

LLB:- LLB, or Bachelor of Legislative Law, is a 3- or 5-year undergraduate law programme that can be pursued after high school graduation or the 10+2 examination, respectively. The Bachelor of Legislative Law is a core legal course that instructs students on the methods that are used in the field.
