Canossa College of Nursing, Kannur is situated in the state of Kerala and is established in the year 2004. It is a private college accredited by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the erupted KNC. The College firmly believes that health is the fundamental right of every person and that it is the responsibility of the health profession to provide the kind of healthcare which will give each individual in society every opportunity to achieve optimum health. The College aims to make its students a professional in nursing expertise so that each individual is qualified and obliged to give the required care.

Canossa College of Nursing Admission 2024 

The courses offer 2 courses accords 1 stream that is nursing. Popular degrees offered include B.Sc and M.Sc.

Bachelor’s of Science (Nursing) is a 4 years course and General Nursing Midwifery is a 3-year 6 months course. The PG course includes :

  1. Medical-Surgical Nursing
  2. Community Health Nursing
  3. Child Health ( Paediatric) Nursing
  4. Psychiatric Nursing
  5. Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing

Students are required to follow a proper code of conduct once they’re admitted and need to maintain necessary attendance of 80% minimum. There will be 8 semesters in total with an annual intake of 200 students in aggregate.

Eligibility

The students opting for the undergraduate and diploma courses are required to obtain at least 50% in their 12th examinations. Rules of reservation prescribed by the Kerela University of Health and Sciences must be strictly adhered to. The students must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their compulsory subjects and must obtain 50% aggregate individually in separate subjects. The reserved category candidates are required to score an aggregate of 45 % in the above-mentioned subjects respectively.

UG & PG Admissions

  • The application is to be filled out by taking the form from the college administration office itself.
  • The students shall submit the photocopy of their attested mark sheets and documents necessarily required.
  • The application fee will be mentioned at the office itself.
  • After submission of the application, the students shall be called for an interview by the Principal via mail.
  • A call for an interview does not ensure the admission of the student necessarily.
