About the college

Don Bosco College was founded in the year 1989 to make young people liable residents and to extend different employment opportunities so that the younger generation does not sit idly. It got the official authorization from the Government of Kerala and endorsement from the University Of Calicut in 2013. The organisation pulls out at all stops in granting indispensable and quality instruction to lead the understudies to self-change and to make them specialists in social turn of events and improvement. The college infrastructure is well maintained with various other facilities like a library, network facilities, computer labs etc. The college offers students an eco-friendly environment and also ensures a cordial student-teacher relationship.

DBCM Admission 2024 

The college offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses as well. The courses include:

• Bachelor Of Commerce ( B.Com with CA) specialization in Computer Application and tally
• Bachelors of Arts (BA English) Complimentary courses: Mass Communication and journalism
• Bachelor of Arts ( BA sociology )
• Master of Commerce (M.Com)

The courses are for 3 years and are on campus and full-time. Other details such as the fee structure can be seen in the brochure provided by the university on its official site. The College also offers various scholarships .

Eligibility

• A pass in the higher secondary examination or its equivalent with at least one subject of specialization.
• The students belonging to the reserved categories are provided with a concession of 5% in their 10^th and 12^th
• The marks one needs to be eligible for taking admission in to this college are mentioned below :

1. General – 50% or above
2. SC / ST- 45% or above
3. OBC- 43% or above
4. MBC- 40% or above

• The student shall not have any receptacle in any of the subjects.
• Foreign students seeking admission to this college need to submit their Academic records, secondary school records and post-secondary school records and must have English language proficiency and scores in the necessary standardised tests.

 UG & PG Admissions

• Application for admission must be sought in the prescribed form made available in the college office.
• The duly filled application form has to be sent to the Principal.
• The applicant must check the allotment list and the date of admission.
• Students are advised to have with them a sufficient number of attested copies of their documents before the original certificates are submitted to the office. Certificates will be given back only after completion of the course and after paying all the dues.
