Situated in the Girwan region of the Banda district Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law College is one of the most prominent law colleges in the area which is run by Jigyasa Seva Sansthan. It was established in 2005 and is the third college of law to be affiliated with Bundelkhand University. Recently in 2007, the college got approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. Recently in 2017, the college got NAAC accredited “B” grade certified.

The institution mainly offers three courses namely B.A.+L.L.B, L.L.B, and L.L.M. More than 530 students are attending their legal studies and pursuing their respective courses daily.

The college is equipped with decent classrooms, well-furnished lecture halls, a seminar hall, a moot court, and a library.

Vision and Mission: “Sabko Shiksha Sabka Dhyan, Yahi Hamare Hai Pehchaan”. Meaning the institution believes in everyone’s education by providing individual assistance and attention.

Courses Offered: The college offers 3 courses in total, they are-

BA+L.L.B (5-year course)
L.L.B (3-year course)
L.L.M (2-year course)

Admission Process:

For BA+L.L.B Admission: Passed in 10+2examination from any recognized board.
For L.L.B Admission: Based on the merit scored in the entrance examination conducted by Bundelkhand University.
For L.L.M Admission: Merit-based on L.L.B results obtained.

The Bar Council of India granted 160 seats for its programs which was later increased by 20seats from the 2010-11 session due to good performance in its program examinations.

The college also offers 60 seatsforthe integrated BA+L.L.B program.
