Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University was established in 1975 and it is a state university which is located in Faizabad,Uttar Pradesh, India. The university is approved by UGC and AICTE, talking about the accreditation, it has got Grade A. The university offers various UG, PG as well as doctoral courses. 

 

COURSES and ELIGIBILITY 

 

UG courses 

 

  1. BSc -Passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. 
  2. BTech - Passed HSC examination with minimum 45% marks in science stream.
  3. BA - Passed 10+2 examination with  minimum 50% marks.
  4. BVoc - A candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks.
  5. BSW - Requirement is to pass 10+2  with minimum 45% marks.
  6. BPES - 10+2 with minimum 45% marks. 
  7. B.Lib.I.Sc - Graduation with minimum 45% marks in any field.
  8. BBA - Candidates need to pass 10+2 with minimum 45% marks. 
  9. BCA - 10+2 with minimum 40% marks. 
  10. B.PEd - Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks and Physical Education as one of the main subjects. 

 

POSTGRADUATION COURSES ARE:

 

  1. MTech - Graduation with minimum 50% marks in science stream.
  2. MSc - Graduation with minimum 50%
  3. MA - Graduation with minimum 50%
  4. MCA - Graduation with maths as a main subject and minimum 50% marks.
  5. MBA - Graduation with minimum 50% marks. 
  6. MPH - Graduation in any field.
  7. MSW - Graduation in any field.
  8. MTA - Graduation in any field.
  9. MFA - Graduation with minimum 50% marks.
  10. MPA - Graduation in the field of music or 6 years of diploma in music. 
  11. MLibISc - Graduation  with minimum 45% marks.
  12. LLM - LLB with minimum 50% marks.

 

PhD courses 

 

  1. PhD in different specializations - Masters in respective stream with minimum 55% marks. 

 

ADMISSIONS INTO THE COLLEGE ARE BASED ON FOLLOWING PROCEDURE: 

 

  1. For BTech,MBA and MCA : Entrance exam will be conducted - UPSEE. 
  2. For BBA, BCA ,BPEd ,and B.Lib.I.Sc : Entrance exam will be conducted - AUCAT. 
  3. For the remaining UG courses admissions are merit based only.
  4. For MTech : Scores of GATE is considered. 
  5. For MPH, MSW, MTA, MFA, MPA, MLibISc,LLM, MA, MSc : Entrance exam AUCAT is conducted.
  6. In case of PhD courses, entrance scores are considered (CET) . Candidates who have already cleared UGC NET / JRF are allowed to skip the entrance exam.
