Dr. Virambhai Godhaniya College of Information Technology is situated in Porbandar, Gujarat. It was established in 1988 and is also known as Dr. Virambhai Godhaniya College of Arts, Commerce, Home Science & Information Technology. The founder of this institute is Shri Maldevji Odedra. The financial support comes from the central government and is affiliated with Saurashtra University. This institute offers undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Information Technology, PGDCA, B.Ed. in Gujarati, MA in English, and M.Sc. in IT & CA. The institute has also got a COP in Spoken English and E-Commerce and a Foundation Course in Human Rights and Value Education that is approved by UGC Pune and Saurashtra University, Rajkot. The institute also provides students with an English Language Lab.
