Farook College Admission 2024 | UG & PG Course Last Date

Farook College was established in the year 1948 at Kozhikode in Kerala. The college is a milestone that marks the revival of Kerala Muslims. They ranked 71 according to NIRF rankings. The college was initially affiliated to Madras University. After that in1957, it affiliated to University of Kerala and then in 1968 to University of Calicut. Farook College has been re-accredited with 'A+' by NAAC. It has also been given the title of 'Autonomous'. They are being dedicated to uplift the social causes through education. The parent body of the college is The Rouzathul Uloom Association who are committed to serve the marginalized and economically weaker sections. Farook College is the winner of Maulana Azad National Literacy Award, has got 2 times R. Shankar Award for the best grade college in the state. The college covers the area of 72 acres of land. They are offering 22 Undergraduate courses, 16 Postgraduate courses and 11 of PG programmes offering Ph.D. courses.

Eligibility Criteria

The  Farook College will tell about the rank or merit list after which students are being called for an interview round. After that college with posts about the selected students.

 

For B.A., B.Sc., BBA

Students must pass their intermediate from a recognised college also they must have passed within their respective main subject. 

 

For B.Com., BMMC

Applicants must have commerce as their main subject in intermediate and they have scored at least 45% marks in the board. 

 

For M.A.

Candidates should have cleared their Bachelor's degree with at least 45% marks. 

 

For M.Sc

Candidates must have completed their B.Sc. and have scored at least 50% in the discipline they want to complete their master's.

But for Psychology they must complete their graduation with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject. 

 

For M.Com. 

Students have to score 45% marks in B Com. or BBA or BBS or BBM.

 

For M.L.I.Sc (integrated)

Candidates must have completed their bachelors degree with at least 50% marks. 

 

For B.L.I.Sc.

Students have completed their B.A. or B.Sc. or B.Com. with 50% marks from a recognised College or University.

 

For M.C.J.

It is a course in Journalism. Candidates can have any discipline graduation degree from a recognised College or University.

 

For Ph.D.

Students have to clear a masters degree in their own discipline.
