Govt. College of Nursing Admission 2024

 Admission to the college is done by the LBS Centre for Science & Technology. The admission is usually based on the rank list prepared by the LBS centre as per the government norms. The college offers courses such as B.Sc Nursing which has a duration of 4 years and one-year of compulsory nursing service. The current annual intake in this course is 66 and 5 seats for Jammu and Kashmir students under the PMSS scheme. It also offers a postgraduate course which is M.Sc Nursing which is for 2 years and the current intake is 22 students.

Eligibility

• For B.Sc Nursing the minimum age of admission is 17 years and the minimum educational requirements are that the student must have a pass in their secondary schooling years with science and English as compulsory subjects with an aggregation of 50% marks as well .
• For the M.Sc course, the candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
• Candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience before or after the regular post basic B.Sc Nursing.
• The candidate should be medically fit.
