About the college

Hari Shanker Prasad Law College was established in 2005 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh which is associated with the Bar Council of India (BCI). It is a private university under Mahatama Gandhi Kashi VidhyaPith University (MGKVP), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The goal of this university is to provide the best legal teaching since there is no law school in the region and most graduates had to travel outside of the city. It was especially challenging for the poorer sections of the surrounding society to send their children to certain other towns, resulting in the formation of Hari Shanker Prasad Law College. The university’s main library is located right in the center of the university premises. The bookstore has a strong selection of supplementary or derivative information sources including reference books, guidebooks, indexes, and publications. The UGC will offer economic support for holding specialized sessions beyond the usual schedule in order to assist individuals from SC/ST/OBCs or minor communities who will have appropriate plans of action tutoring for continuing further academics successfully and to lower their failing and fall rates.
