This university was established as the North Gujarat University act number 22 of 1986 by the legislative assembly of Gujarat University has been functioning since than and growing and expanding rapidly. The university operates and socks 41 colleges scattered over the three districts allotted in its jurisdiction the aim was to start building up unucleus library for the future post graduate department of University. PC universities approved by University friend commission and is a credited with A grade by NAAC. University offers UG PG and doctor courses in the disciplines of art science commerce architecture and management. There are 244 affiliated colleges across the state under this university as it is a public sector University.

HNGU Admission 2024

University offers undergraduate postgraduate and Enfield and PHD courses along with postgraduate diploma in various disciplines admission to at BBA BCA LLB and BSc of the basis of mass of 10 in 10 + 2 examination. Admissions to postgraduate courses such 

M.Ed M.P.Ed etc. The selection process is based on the separate entrance test followed by interview conducted by the University it also offers M.com M.A in external mode University final selection of the candidate.

ELIGIBILITY

The eligibility for post graduate courses is to pass the bachelors degree with minimum 50% of the marks in aggregate for SC and ST candidates there is a 5% relaxation is the basic eligibility for undergraduate courses is to pass 10 + 2 in the relevant field with minimum aggregate of 50% marks and minimum 45% marks in the aggregate for SC and ST.
