About the college

Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Science [IGIDS], was established in the year 2007 and is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health and Sciences and approved by the government of Kerala and recognised by the government of Kerala. This educational institution tries to mould the students into efficient, socially committed and skilled dentists to achieve the vision of making Kerala an international destination for specialised oral and health care. IGIDS Admission 2024 

The course offered by this institute is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). This undergraduate course through four and a half year course from the same commencement. During this period, the students shall be required to engage in full-time study at a Dental College recognised or approved by the Dental Council of India. The annual intake of this institution is 100. During the first four and a half years, the instruction in clinical subjects should be at least two and a half years.

Eligibility

• The students should have completed plus two with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as the core subjects and should have cleared the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency with sufficient cut-off marks.
• The students must enrol in compulsory rotatory internship.
• The students shall be above 17 years of age as of 31st December.
