Courses Offered and Eligibility criteria:

• For B.V.Sc. & A.H. program-

Ø For the general category- Passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry from any recognized board.

Ø For the reserved category- The eligibility criteria will be 40% the same.

• For M.V.Sc. program-

Ø For general category candidates- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences with a minimum grade point of 6.0/10.0 or have a 50% score.

Ø For reserved candidates- The minimum aggregate will be 45% for the same.

• For the B.Sc. program-

Ø Passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate from any recognized board.

• For the M.Sc. program-

Ø Must possess a bachelor's degree from any recognized university in the relevant field to be eligible to apply.

• For the Ph.D. program-

Ø In Veterinary and Animal Sciences: For the general category- The candidate must procure a master’s degree with a minimum grade point of 7.5/10.0

For reserved candidates- Must procure a grade point of 7.0/10.0.

Ø In Biosciences: For the general category- Must have a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 7.5/10.0

For reserved candidates- The minimum CGPA is 7.0/10.0 for the same.

• For the Diploma course-

Ø Passed 10+2 with biology as a mandatory subject.

• For the P.G. Diploma program-

Ø Must have a B.V.Sc. degree.

Ø Also must have a VCI registration.

Admission Process: For B.V.Sc and A.H. candidates- Should qualify NEET examination.

For B.Sc, M.V.Sc, M.Sc, and Diploma programs, the aspirants must clear the entrance exam conducted by the university.

And for Ph.D. programs, the aspirant must clear the entrance examination along with the interview.

How to apply?

• Visit the official website and register yourself and fill out the application form.
• After carefully filling and uploading all the required fields the applicant will be directed to the payment webpage to pay the application fee via online(UPI/ Netbanking) mode or Demand draft.
• For the general category, the application fee is Rs. 1000/-

For the reserved category, the application fee is Rs. 500/-

• Shortly after the merit list would be displayed on the official admission portal and subsequently the eligible candidates will be directed further for the payment of the admission fee.
