Keyi Sahib Training College is located in Karimbam,Taliparamba,Kannur is a very famous institution known for providing best quality education to the students in the field of education. It is one of the most prestigious colleges of Kerala. 

The college aims at overall development of the students and gives them an environment to research and explore in the field of education.It is affiliated to Kannur University, Kerala, and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE). The institution has been mentioned under section 2 (f) and 12 (b) of the UGC act 1956 and it has been provided a minority status. The college is open to all castes and is a Government aided institute. The institute is eastablished by CDMEA.   

The college is being managed by the Cannanore District Muslim Educational Association (CDMEA), a Registered Society, which comes under the societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. 

 

AVAILABILITY OF VARIOUS FACILITIES

 

  1. A well equipped computer lab with high speed internet connection via broadband. 
  2. Library with data entry system, completely computerized. Library contains more than five thousand books.
  3. A Career Guidance and Counseling Centre which is funded by UGC.
  4. It is considered as the first BEd college in Kerala to have all its classrooms as smart with all the needed technical facilities. 

 

COURSES

 

The college provides B.Ed(Bachelor in Education)  courses only. 

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR BEd

 

Interested candidates must have  at least fifty percent marks (50%) either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with science and mathematics as subjects with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualifications , are eligible for the admission to the B.Ed program at the college.
