KVM Institute of Paramedical Sciences [KVMIPMS], Cherthala was established in the year 2009 and is a private self-financing college. The Institute aims at the formation of intellectually and technically enlightened, disciplined and dedicated citizens of the nation. The college’s sole mission is to make available the highest quality health care personnel to the community, to provide wellness to all, relieve pain, and restore health speedily and safely. The college is known for producing extremely competent and skilled technologists for emerging modern laboratories. KVM institute has been equipped with well qualified and motivated faculty.

All departments have well-established labs as well.

KVMIPMS Admission 2024 

The college offers courses such as B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology which is for 4 years and has an annual intake of 30 students. This course will enable the students to have a good theoretical and practical background to work in the field of Medical Laboratory technology and the students will be able to manage a clinical or research laboratory. Other than this the college also offers a Diploma in MLT which encourages students for carrying out laboratory investigations accurately and report to the medical officers which help them in deciding the correct line of treatment for the patients. It is a 2-year course with an annual intake of 40 students.

Eligibility

• Students opting for the bachelor’s course should have passed the higher secondary examination of the Board of higher secondary education, Kerala or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English put together are eligible.
• The selection procedure will be as per the norms set by the Kerala University Of Health and Sciences.
• For the Diploma course, the candidates should have at least 40% marks in science subjects in 10 plus two examinations with physics, chemistry and biology as optional subjects.

UG & PG Admissions

• The application form must be filled out with attention to detail and should not contain any mistakes otherwise the application may be rejected.
• Provide the necessary documents and receipts as per asked.
