About the college-

One of the three higher education institutions run by Vanika Vaisya Educational and Employment Trust, Valiasala, Thiruvananthapuram, was established in 2002 and is called MCA College. The College has received approval from AICTE, New Delhi and is associated with the University of Kerala. This MCA College's primary goal is to provide students with a solid foundation in the rapidly developing field of information technology so they can pursue a future profession wherever opportunities are available. The institute is equipped with all required amenities, including a library, dormitory space for female students, a computer lab, a medical centre, a sports facility, etc. The goal of the institute is to offer high-quality instruction that improves the cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor abilities essential to holistic growth.

KVVSIT Kaithaparambu Admission 2024

The college provides admission to the Master of Computer Applications course which is for a time period of three years.

Eligibility 

Candidates must have earned a BCA/Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science or a degree of equal standing or should have completed a B.Sc., B.Com., or BA with a passing grade in mathematics at the 10+2 level or in the mathematical sciences (mathematics, computer science, statistics, and operations research) at the graduate level (With additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Since conducting a bridge course for this year is not feasible, these students would need to develop their skills through a "Online MOOC Course" [Massive Open Online Course] in accordance with Kerala Technological University standards. Candidates need to have gotten at least 50% on their degree exam. For those who fall under the reserved category, it is 45%. No percentage of marks may be rounded to the next higher integer.

Process-

Selection of Candidates for admission is made in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University and the Government of Kerala.A copy of the eligibility certificate received from the Calicut University must be submitted with the application by candidates who have passed the qualifying exams from universities or boards outside the state of Kerala.
