Modern Vidya Niketan University was established in 2012 and the foundation was led by the Haryana state government, the same state where it is located. The Palwal based university is a member of Association of Indian University(AIU) and has been approved by University Grant Commision(UGC).  The University also has accreditation from Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Bar Council of India (BCI) which makes the university fit for the aspirants willing to seek admission in its courses related to pharmacy or to pursue a course in law studies. Apart from the courses in law and pharmacy, the university is also home to  many other prominent courses, noteworthy among them are engineering, science, management, commerce, law, pharmacy, humanities, allied health science and agriculture. It imparts degrees in B.Tech, B.Com and B.Com (hons), BBA, LLB, BA.LLB, BA, BA(Hons), B,Sc, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, BPT, BPH, BOP, MBA, LLM, M.Pharm, M.Sc and MPT along with option for further studies pursuing PhD and diploma courses.
